Star Wars Outlaws at Massive Entertainment

A Ubisoft open-world game where you play Kay Vess, and her companion Nix, as they fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates. I worked on this project as a Senior Narrative Systems Designer and owned many features including the Reputation system, Intel, Eavesdropping conversations and underworld Side Stories.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at Massive Entertainment

Ubisoft’s first-person, action-adventure game set in the open world part of the Western Frontier of Pandora. I worked on this project for many years as a Narrative Designer, then as a Senior/Lead Narrative Designer creating the realization tools and systems for the quest designers and writers.

The Fifth Season

at Green Ronin

The Fifth Season is a TTRPG based on the award winning novels by N.K. Jemisin. The crowdfunding campaign launched in January 2023 and was funded in just 6 hours! I wrote an adventure scenario for the Core Rulebook called Miroq Festival.

What Never Was

as a contributor.

What Never Was is a short narrative, adventure-puzzle game designed by the talented Acke Hallgren. I contributed to the project by Writing Additional Dialogue and helped Acke with the incredibly well received first installment of the series.

The Monster in Me is a short piece of interactive fiction that explores moral choices in a post-apocalyptic world. The game was a personal project initially created for Ludum Dare 33.

Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey

at Kobojo

Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey is a beautiful 2D, JRPG made in collaboration with Final Fantasy veterans Kazushige Nojima, Hitoshi Sakimoto and Hideo Minaba. It was created for PS4, PsVita, iPad and mobile. I worked as a Game Designer for the entirety of the project, creating the initial design, story, characters and world.

Guest Lecturing

I have been guest lecturing on game courses for the last 10 years. I have a narrative design worksop with The Game Assembly every year. I have previously given lectures at Glasgow Caledonian University, Abertay University Dundee, London Southbank University and several others.

GENIE for Ubisoft’s Snowdrop Engine.

I helped design and develop a new narrative tool for Ubisoft’s in-house Snowdrop Engine. It allows narrative designers to write and design conversations inside the engine and generate animation sequences directly from their scripts.

GENIE was made for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and has been used in Star Wars Outlaws as well as many upcoming Ubisoft games.

GEM as part of Game Habitat.

GEM is an initiative created to empower female indenitfying game developers in Southern Sweden to help the industry become a more equal and inclusive place.

GEM is part of the Game Habitat group.
